You're almost done, all that remains is to setup Naso devices which this article will cover.
Mount and connect Naso
Before you start configure all your Naso devices and assigning them to a room it's probably a good idea to get them mounted and connected.
Naso can be mounted on both standard or glass walls, see the mounting instructions for more details.
Power & network
For powering and connecting the Naso there are 3 options:
- Wired Ethernet with PoE (recommended).
- Wired Ethernet without PoE and a power supply.
- Wi-fi and a power supply.
Not finding a power supply? Naso does not come with a power supply in the standard box due to an absolute majority of users using PoE (power over ethernet) however instead it's provided as an accessory when placing your order.
To setup your Naso devices we've created an app called SetApp available for both iOS and Android.
Claim Naso using SetApp
Open SetApp and login with an account that has Naso admin panel access (i.e. an account added in the
Select the appropriate room for the Naso. If the room isn't showing in the list then there is a good chance the room haven't been imported yet in the Naso admin panel.
Pick a name for the Naso. The name is by default set to the meeting room name and we recommend to leave it like this unless you will use more than one Naso device to the same meeting room.
Choose whether the Naso should use a wired network connection or Wi-Fi. If you choose Wi-Fi you will need to enter your Wi-Fi SSID and password.
Press CONNECT on the Naso while keeping your smartphone nearby and wait for it to connect.
Once connected, enter the 6 digit PIN shown on the Naso in SetApp for verification.
Done! The Naso should now download the appropriate room settings along with the latest software update. This will take a couple of minutes but is handled automatically. To claim another Naso, press SETUP ANOTHER DEVICE and simply repeat above steps for the next room.
Success! Once you've claimed all your Naso devices you should be setup to start booking!
